Read "i'll be the artist if you'll be my muse"
The first book published by Hartsfield Homestead & Press by a new author!
This has been a stretching experience, and I am honored to be able to announce that i’ll be the artist if you’ll be my muse was published in paperback and eBook this spring.
You can find the book on Amazon, Kindle Unlimited, and Barnes & Noble. We’re celebrating the release of i’ll be the artist if you’ll be my muse in April (National Poetry Month!) by offering the eBook for free download on Kindle every Saturday. That means that on the 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, & 29th of April you can download the eBook for FREE.
Why would we offer the book for free? Well, if we can get more people reading the book there will be more people talking about the book. This is an intense little chapbook of poetry about grief, loss, love, and trauma. Here’s what one reader has said:
This is a challenging book of poetry, and it took almost a year to get it ready for publication. Hartsfield Homestead & Press’s passion is poetry, so it feels fitting that the first author to be published other than me is a fellow poet. R.C. Dawn is a pen name, and while I won’t be revealing any more information about her than is already in the book, you can follow her on Instagram and Facebook. She posts snippets of the poems in her book, so if you are on the fence about purchasing a copy you can read what she already has posted. I’d really appreciate it if you showed her some love by engaging with her posts and liking/following her page.
As of right now, Hartsfield Homestead & Press is not accepting unsolicited manuscripts, but I will let you know that I am working with a couple more authors and am hoping to publish a few more books this year. I’m hoping to be able to share more about some upcoming projects soon!
But for right now, I’m just celebrating this latest publication for the milestone it is, and looking forward to National Poetry Month:)
